Actress Neelima is a film actress and a dubbing artist, who is mainly known for her roles in Tamil-language soap operas and movies in antagonistic roles. She also produced the Zee Tamil series Niram 'Maaratha Pookkal' and 'Endrendrum Punnagai'.

Neelima Rani fell in love and got married to Mr Isai Vanan, who's 12 years older than her. The couple has a daughter, who was born 9 years after their marriage. The cute couple also welcomed their second child in January 2022.

Neelima started off her career as a child artist and appeared in over 30 movies across various languages. Neelima impressed fans with her shows Kolangal (as Rekha Arjun), Metti Oli (as Sakthi Selvam), Mahabharatham (as Goddess Rukmini), Thamarai (as Sneha/Kavitha), Thalayanai Pookal (as Malliga) and Vani Rani (as Dimple), to name a few. .She has also acted on the silver screen in movies like Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, Kuttram 23, Naan Mahaan Alla, Mozhi etc. She was featured in many movies as a child artist too.
