'Neruppu Da' is the maiden production venture of Vikram Prabhu who has started a new company called First Artist.  The film is directed by B. Ashok Kumar while Sean Rolden is taking care of the music, R.D Rajasekhar the music and editing by Thiagu.  Chandra Arts Esakki Durai and R.K. Ajaykumar are serving as the co-producers.

Though the Superstar Rajini song in “Neruppu Da...” form ‘Kabali’ became a huge hit, the title suits the movie as Vikram Prabhu is playing a firefighter and the story is about the hardships they face to save others.  Nikki Galrani plays the love interest of Vikram Prabhu while Varun, Rajendran,Naginedu,Aadukalam Naren and Madhusudhan Rao are also in the cast.  ‘Neruppu Da’ is slated for release on the 8th of September.
