Produced by director Shankar and directed by Balaji Sakthivel, Kaadhal starring Bharath and Sandhiya and released in 2004 became a massive blockbuster in both Tamil and Telugu in its dubbed version.

While many who acted in Kaadhal turned popular, actor Pallu Babu also gained popularity with his Viruchigakanth role in the movie but unfortunately didn't get much offers and due to poverty had been begging and was helped by actors Sai Dheena and Abi Saravanan.

However during the lockdown his economic condition worsened further and few days back Pallu Babu was sleeping in an auto and passed away in the auto itself, and photos of a dead Babu lying in the auto has shocked Netizens who are pouring their condolences.
