New 100rs note from April 2018

The Reserve Bank of India will start printing the new Rs.100 notes from April 2018 as per various sources.Currently RBI is looking to finish off the formalities for Rs. 200 post which work for Rs 100 denomination will begin. The process is a part of the demonetization efforts that were commenced to curb corruption last year November 2016. As again RBI has stated that there will be no change in size of the currency as this will help in being compatible with current ATMs without requiring additional calibration. The ATM calibration was the biggest problems faced by banks asthe new Rs.2000 and Rs500 took considerable time to make it compatible.
