The Muslim Council of Britain that this incident, which happened outside one of the biggest mosques in country, was an act of Islamaphobia, as the attack happened in the month of Ramzan.

British Prime Minister Theresa May said that the police were looking into the incident as a possible act of terrorism; a response from the PM's office is expected today. The 48-year-old man driving the van has been arrested by the police and will undergo mental health assessment.
