Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 'Bachchan Pandey' has been in production since late 2020 and it has made headlines on several ocassions regarding its development. On Tuesday, Akshay took to Instagram to share couple of new posters of the film and announced its release date as well. The first poster featured Akshay as his character sporting red headband, black sunglasses and gold chains on his bare chest.

The second poster featured Akshay and his gang wielding bladed weapons and sitting on an overcrowded truck. The actor captioned the post as, "Action ✔️ Comedy ✔️ Romance ✔️ Drama ✔️ L-O-A-D-I-N-G this Holi! #SajidNadiadwala’s #BachchanPandey in cinemas on 18th March, 2022 ?? Directed by @farhadsamji."

Talking about the mode of release, producer Sajid Nadiadwala said, "All my films rate in the top 10 films on satellite, but, for me, my films are meant for cinemas and that is where they will always release."

Apart from this, Akshay is also going to star in films like 'Ram Setu', 'Prithviraj', 'Raksha Bandhan' among others.
