Actress Anushka's last release was Bhaagamathie, which also had a dubbed Tamil version and the movie was released before two years. The actress has completed a multilanguage crossover movie named Nishabdham/ Silence which has announced its release date now.

Directed by Hemant Madhukar and produced by East Coast Productions and Kona Film Corporation, Nishabdham was initially announced as a January 31 release, and was later postponed to February 20, and now it has been made official that the movie releases worldwide on April 2.

Nishabdham will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English and stars Madhavan as Anushka's pair after Rendu. The movie which has Anushka as a deaf and mute girl and Madhavan as a musician also stars Anjali, Shalini Pandey and Hollywood actor Michael Madsen.
