The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, after a meeting with MAA and other industry bodies, has rolled out a plan for film shootings. Now that a lot of big-ticket and medium-range movies are going to commence their shoot soon, the Chamber has worked out a feasible, phased reopening of the industry.

It has been decided that unfinished films will complete their production works first before new films can take off. This is meant to help the Telugu film industry tide over the crisis in a systematic manner. Directors, artists and other technicians will have to make themselves available for films that were stalled in April in the wake of the second wave of the pandemic.

The film teams will have to complete the pending portions as soon as possible. In this regard, the schedules have to be curtailed suitably, so that artists and technicians are available for new projects without undue delays in due course of time.

Vaccination has been made compulsory. Only those artists and technicians have who give in writing that they have taken vaccination can participate in shootings. At least one dose of vaccination must be taken.

The managers of artists and technicians have been made responsible to convey the new norms to their respective clients. Production houses have to strictly comply with the SOPs issued by authorities.
