The Jayam Ravi starrer Comali, directed by debutant Pradeep Ranganathan, was released on August 15, and also starring Kajal Aggarwal, Samyuktha Hegde and Yogi Babu, the movie which was produced by Vels Film International Isari K Ganesh has become a superhit.

After the success of Comali, the production house has now announced their next release. Vels Film International which had earlier scored a success with the RJ Balaji starrer LKG, has now announced their third release of the year, Puppy which will be releasing on October 11.

Puppy will have actor Varun, who had acted in supporting roles in movies like Bogan, Vanamagan and also in Comali as the hero, and Samyuktha Hegde who was one of the female leads in Comali, plays his pair. Comedian Yogi Babu also plays an important role in this movie directed by debutant Morattu Single.
