Valimai producer Boney Kapoor plans his next Tamil movie?

Popular Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor, husband of yesteryear dream girl Sridevi had ventured into Tamil cinema with the Tamil remake of Pink, the Ajith starrer Nerkonda Paarvai directed by H.Vinoth and is currently producing Valimai with the same combo.
Now it has been revealed that Boney Kapoor has acquired the remake and dubbing rights of the acclaimed Malayalam movie Prathi Poovankozhi. It has been said that Boney Kapoor is planning to remake the movie in Tamil and Hindi.
Released in 2019, Prathi Poovankozhi which was directed by Rosshan Andrrews, stars the director himself and Manju Warrier who debuted in Tamil with Asuran. The movie revolves around a woman's fightback against an eve teaser and was inspired by the short story Sankadam by R Unni.
