'X-Men' star becomes Tom Cruise's villain in 'Mission Impossible 7'

After James Bond perhaps the world's next most famous globe-trotting spy is Ethan Hunt with Tom Cruise playing him in six instalments of 'Mission Impossible' the last of which titled 'Fallout' became the biggest grosser in the franchise collecting 791.1 million USD globally. The seventh and the eighth films are being shot simultaneously by director Christopher McQuarrie with release dates set on July 23, 2021, and Aug. 5, 2022.

The hot news now is that 'X-Men' star Nicholas Hoult has joined 'Mission Impossible 7' and will be playing the villain. The news got confirmed when the director posted on social media Say, @nicholashoult, care to raise a little hell?” to which came the prompt reply from the thirty year old star “Love to. Though why stop at a little?”.

The 'Mission Impossible 7' cast who will return along with Cruise are Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg Ferguson with newcomers Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff and Shea Whigham.
