For Nikhil Dwivedi, it has been quite some journey ever since he made his big screen debut with 'My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves' in 2008. While in his first ever big screen outing he played a boy next door, he has enacted varied characters in subsequent films, and is now set to step into the UP mode with his solo outing 'Tamanchey.'

While he is going completely unabashed in the part of a colorful character that he enacts in the film, his partner-in-crime is Richa Chadha for whom this is a follow up outing after 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Fukrey'.

"In 'Tamanchey', she is playing this BTM girl though - 'Behenji turned modern'. And trust me, she has played it all superbly. As a character who comes somewhere from NCR region, perhaps Gurgaon, she thinks of herself as someone who is heroine material. Par then aisa kuch hai nahi," laughs Nikhil.

Both Nikhil and Richa are said to be playing grey characters in this action-comedy-romantic flick where nothing is predictable.

"That's the beauty of it," Nikhil continues, "We both are so unpredictable in the film. We could be truly in love with each other, or then perhaps we could just be acting it up. Well, you never know which side these characters turn. This is the reason why we are calling 'Tamanchey' as the love story of two 'kaminey'. There is some unique romance between these youngsters who consider themselves as an 'aflatoon' and 'tees maar khan'."

We too would know for ourselves when the film releases all over on 10th October.
