Nikita 32, dies after succumbing to injuries

Laxmipriya Behera aka Nikita, a 32-year-old Odia actress, passed away on Saturday at a private hospital while undergoing treatment for a head injury. She had met with a near-fatal accident on Friday night. The youngster had fallen from the rooftop of her paternal house. The victim was shifted to two different hospitals twice over a span of fewer than 24 hours.

As per a report, a case of "unnatural death" has been registered by the police. This happened before a post-mortem was done. The report is awaited at the time of writing this report.

Married to Lipan Sahu in 2016, the deceased is survived also by a six-month-old daughter.
