Nithya opens up about Jayalalitha biopic

Nithya Menen is kicked about essaying the role of late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalitha. It will be directed by Priyadarshini. 'The Iron Lady' is its title.
The film is a very heavy one. I was very impressed when director Priyadarshini came with the film to me. She was so focussed. I told her that if we are doing a biopic, we should ensure complete justice to the character, Nithya reveals.
The director was going in the right direction and was extremely confident. I am really looking forward to doing the film. That will be interesting to explore as an artist, the versatile Malayalam actress, who has done 'AWE!' in Telugu recently, says.
'Praana', in multiple languages, will be her next movie. 'Mission Mangal', in which Akshay Kumar stars, is her first Hindi film. In 'NTR-Kathanayakudu', she will be seen in a cameo as Savitri.
