22, Female Kottayam, the bold hit movie from director Aashiq Abu, which has started a trend of sorts will soon have its Tamil version. To be directed by actress Sreepriya, Popular star Nithya Menon will reprise the role of Tessa K Abraham, that Rima Kallingal has done in the original.
Nithya who is said to be facing an unofficial ban in Mollywood, but with plenty of projects in Telugu and Kannada, will thus get a space to have a go in a meaty character. Kovai Sarala will appear in another important role while Shriya Reddy will come up in a role with grey shades. Prathap Pothen will reprise his role in the Tamil role also as the makers including its producer Rajkumar, are in the look out for a known figure to do the lead role of Fahad. The movie is expected to be on floor , this July.
