Breaking: Nivetha Thomas joins Superstar Rajnikanth's Darbar!

Superstar Rajnikanth is currently in Mumbai, where the shooting of his 167th movie Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions is progressing. While it was earlier reported that Nayanthara will join the shoot today, here's another breaking update on the cast of the movie.
As we had reported earlier, Nivetha Thomas is playing an important role in Darbar, and this has been proved as several videos have been leaked from the shooting of Darbar. The leaked videos feature a scene at a hospital, with Nivetha Thomas and Rajnikanth interacting, and comedian Yogi Babu accompanying them, and it looks like he plays Superstar's assistant.
Darbar has Rajnikanth playing a police officer, and is said to be a mass entertainer with a social message, and Bollywood actor Pratheek Babbar has been roped in to play the villain. Director John Mahendran also plays an important role in the movie, which has music by Anirudh and is announced as a Pongal 2020 release.
