Acclaimed director Ram's upcoming film 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' is gaining international recognition now. The movie stars Nivin Pauly, Soori and Anjali in the lead roles with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' was selected for the Big Screen Competition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2024.

The film's producer Suresh Kamatchi shared an emotional note over the same and it is going viral. Here's a rough translation of his statement:

"Acknowledgment of works before they even hit the screen can be very exciting. It has given me such emotional joy that director Ram's 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai,' produced by my V House Productions, has been selected in the 'Big Screen Competition' category at the 53rd Rotterdam International Film Festival.

We are proud to compete with many world films for the Big Screen Award, the main competition category of the Rotterdam International Film Festival, which will be held from January 25 to February 4, 2024.

We express our heartfelt thanks to Nivin Pauly, Anjali, Soori and Yuvan Shankar Raja who always play delicately in the music, Ekambaram who handled the cinematography well, Art Director Umesh Kumar who stood by the film, Stunt Master Stunt Silva and the selection committee of Rotterdam International Film Festival who made this possible.

We hope that the media industry friends and cinema fans who always support good works will give your support and encouragement to the movie 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai.' We are happy to share this news at the end of the year.

First of all thanks to our director Ram who has put our company's work on the world stage in the selection for a special award for the first time internationally. Happy English New Year to all those who are expecting good things."
