No for Jayam Ravi & Yes for Arun Vijay

We should say that Director ‘Jayam’ Raja took a lot of care in choosing the cast of his upcoming venture ‘Thillalangadi’. This remake venture has ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Tamannah in the lead role.

Earlier the team tried hard to rope in the slim beauty Ileana. And when they approached Ileana’s father, he refused saying that girl does not want to act in the same story again. It was Ileana who sizzled in the original version of the movie (Kick) in Telugu. Later Tamannah was chosen to pair with the lover boy…

Then, some time back the team approached actor Karthik for the father’s role. However, the team's efforts went for vain as the actor declined the offer. Later on our dimpled man Prabhu was roped in to go with the role.

Now it’s learnt that Karthik has been roped in for father’s role in Arun Vijay’s ‘Maanja Velu’

Appaaadi… one way or the other, Karthik is now a daddy!
