In an era where film budgets soar into crores, a groundbreaking project from Bangalore has turned heads by being made with just ₹10 lakhs—and without a hero, heroine, or music composer. Titled "Love You", this experimental film leans entirely on artificial intelligence, pushing the boundaries of how movies are made in India.
Directed by Narasimha Murthy, "Love You" is being hailed as India’s first fully AI-powered film. Instead of traditional cast and crew, Murthy collaborated with a team of AI artists and used around 30 different AI tools to create the film. The result? A 95-minute Kannada-language movie that has already received a U/A certification from the censor board.
Remarkably, the film was completed in just six months, demonstrating the potential of AI to drastically cut down both time and cost in film production. With its teaser already generating buzz, "Love You" stands as a proof-of-concept that could reshape the future of filmmaking.
If successful, this project may inspire a wave of low-budget films powered by technology rather than celebrity, redefining cinematic storytelling in India.
