No producer can ask heroes to reduce remunerations: Bandla Ganesh

Producer Bandla Ganesh has opened up about the ongoing strike by the Active Producers Guild. Here are the highlights of what he said.

Highlights:

I totally agree with Ashwini Dutt garu. No producer has got the right to ask a hero/director to reduce their remuneration. Maruthi is a car, Benz is a car, RR is a car. But not every car is of the same price. Depending on a hero's market, we give him remuneration.

The focus has to be on bringing out quality films. The planning has to be perfect. You can plan to reduce working days, for example, instead of worrying about remunerations. Prepare a storyboard and go for planned schedules.

Those who don't know the difference between call sheets and sheets are making films these days. They have no idea about how to plan shooting schedules, how much a location costs, etc. I have been an actor, production manager, producer... I will continue to be in the film industry, which has never disappointed me.

We have to love cinema and the hero we are working with, because cinema is not business. It's an emotion. The producers have to be honest.

No hero ever requests a producer to make a film with him. Heroes are demi-gods.

Active Producers Guild is a waste thing. What do they know? We have to adhere to the Film Chamber of Commerce and Producers Council.
