No showdown with Harman Baweja: Priyanka

Priyanka Chopra is highly amused by the latest controversy the press has dragged her into.

"My god! The imagination of the press is running riot! I'm supposed to have had a showdown with Harman Baweja at the premiere of his dad's film 'Main Aisa Hi Hoon'? What next, a public brawl with Salman Khan? I mean, does it really end anywhere!" Priyanka told IANS.

The actress, whose spirits never sag thanks to her soaring career and inherently upbeat nature, is baffled by the latest rumour.

"Why would I cry and fight with anyone in public? Do I look like an exhibitionist? I'm a well brought-up girl. Public 'tamashas' are a strict no-no. My parents would put me under house curfew if I made a nuisance of myself in public."

So what really happened at the premiere? Says Priyanka: "I did attend the premiere, just like I attended the premiere of 'Black'. Over there also I had cried. Why didn't they write about it? At the 'Main Aisa Hi Hoon' premiere I cried for the same reasons. I was moved by the film. I congratulated Ajay (Devgan) and left. All the other drama that was supposed to have happened is a figment of someone's imagination.

"You see I cry at the drop of a hat. It takes very little to move me. And I cry very easily at the movies. Does it mean I've to be careful about my tears from now on?"

Priyanka sighs. "Right now so many exciting things are happening to my career. I'm much too focused on my career to let my heart rule my better judgement. Nothing can come between me and my career. When I find a man I love as much as my career I'll let you know."
