Note Book

Chandu struck gold (at the box-office) with his previous movie 10th Class. Little wonder, he considers that to be talismanic. He has directed the movie Notebook under the banner of 10th Class Productions of Vellampally Prasad.

As the title suggests the film will be a love story set in an educational campus. This calf love kind of syndrome always has an attraction for the audience. And if told in a fresh-faced fashion will always do well at the box-office.

Chandu, who knows a thing or two about mixing all the right ingredients, can be trusted to do the same thing here.

Rajiv, son of music director Koti, is the hero. He is full of enthusiasm and easy charm. Being his first movie, he is all raring to go. So is the heroine Gayatri. She was a child artiste (remember the tele serial Nagamma?). Now she is graduating to the big league through Note Book.

Chandu says the film has lot of comedy and plenty of appealing romance.

The film had recently completed shooting. Presently re-recording is in progress under the direction of music director Mickey J Meyer.

Chandu, while talking about the inspiration for the movie, says, "During my student days, my friend got a love letter.  It was not just a letter but a note book. In that book, the person who had given the note book had noted 'My expressions' on one side. The person who received that was to write matching expressions on the other side .I took that point as an inspiration and prepared the script."

The Note Book, with all the ideas and emotions written on it, becomes a kind of leitmotif for the film.

Mickey J Meyer, who made his debut as music director through 10th Class is again scoring the tunes here.

The audio has already hit the stands.

Each and every individual in the society would note down their thoughts and feelings in a notebook is the basic theme of the film and it runs with village as its backdrop.

The audio of the film was released recently to which Mickey J Meyer gave tunes. There are seven songs in this album.

The film is set for release shortly.
