When the first one Dandupalya` was made the people of that locality in Hoskote strongly objected and urged director Srinivasaraju to give up the title as it would bounce back shabbily on the people living.

For the sequel of the film now well in advance a court notice from City Civil Court has been served. This time the inmates in the prison connect to this court notice. A notice has been served on producer Prashanth, director Srinivasaraju and Girish.

The six criminals serving the imprisonment have filed the petition saying the inquiry is still progressing. The need of making a film does not arise in such a case. It is only after completion of inquiry and getting proper permission the film should be decided says the petition.
