Now Kanam's release postponed

A season of films is also a season of postponements. In a unique way, this reality has visited all the industries this season. 'Achari America Yatra', 'Awe' and 'Manasuku Nachindi' in Telugu, 'Padman' and 'Aiyaary' in Hindi, and 'Tik Tik Tik' and 'Irumbu Thirai' in Tamil are the ones.

The latest film to join the bandwagon is 'Kanam', starring Sai Pallavi and Naga Shourya in the lead. The same has been titled 'Karu' in Tamil. The news is that it will hit the screens on Feb 23.

Directed by AL Vijay of the recent 'Abhinetri' fame, it has Priyadarshi of 'Pelli Choopulu' fame in a key role. Music is by Sam CS. The cinematography is by Nirav Shah. Produced by Lyca Productions of '2.0' fame, it is an emotional drama about the many human emotions surrounding abortion.
