Now, Taraka Ratna to act as Sri Rama

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,April 09 2012]

Director Veeru K has signed Taraka Ratna for the role of Sri Rama in his next film. This film, supposedly a parody, will be made as a comedy-action entertainer. Archana would play Sita. Actor Krishnudu has been signed for Ravana's role, while Shraddha Das has a key role. A popular hero will be seen as a CBI officer.

To be produced by Johnny, the film will go on the floors from the 15th. The untitled flick will be shot in Rajahmundry, Rajole and Hyderabad.

Brahmanandam, MS, Krishna Bhagawan and Kondavalasa are part of the cast. Sayaji Shinde is playing a comedy villain and Suman will be seen as a factionist goonda.

Hoping that the makers will not dub their film a multi-starrer, we wish that the film will become so big a hit that RGV will think twice before launching his own version of modern Ramayana.
