2007: In retrospect

Starting today, we will have write-ups about how the Telugu industry did in 2007. It was a fairly good year with major films doing well. Then, there were surprise hits like Happy Days and Mantra. All in all, it was a year that the industry would remember happily. We have had trendsetters and luckily no major upsets.

Jagapati Babu's film that is much awaited is being released in January. The latest from their camp is that the film's music will be out in the market on January 1, 2008.

Stars look forward to multi-starrers

So feel Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Jagapati Babu. Nagarjuna is already acting with Vishnu Babu in Krishnarjuna. Though Venkatesh does not have a multi-starrer yet, he points out that he was the first one to have done a star-studded song in his film right at the beginning of his career.

Actors get business-savvy

we have news that Raja has bought the overseas rights of his film. He has also bought the DVD rights of the film. He will be releasing it under the Sri Raj Film Distributors Banner.
