'NTR-Kathanayakudu', directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, tells the story of an incredible acting phenomenon called NT Rama Rao.  

Besides Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is playing NTR's role, the biopic also stars Vidya Balan (playing NTR's wife Basavatarakam), Prakash Raj (playing Nagi Reddy), Murali Sharma (playing Aluri Chakrapani), Naresh (playing BA Subba Rao) and others.  

If the film's base story is by Dr. L Srikanth, its dialogues are by Sai Madhav Burra.  MM Keeravani and VS Gnanasekhar are music director and cinematographer, respectively.  Ramakrishna and Monika of 'Rangasthalam' fame are its art directors.   

It will hit the screens on Jan 9.
