'Jai Lava Kusa', one of the biggest releases of the year, was part of a record high number of conversations on Facebook in the year 2017, a report says. 'Baahubali-The Conclusion', which had a multi-lingual release, is the only other film from Tollywood to have this distinction.

It seems NTR's 'Dari lo poye danayyalu' speech about film critics had its role to play in this. That said, the film boasted of a fantastic performance by Young Tiger NTR, who got laurels from the audiences, a fact that must have gone into making it a most popular film on Facebook.

Yogi Adityanath, Jallikattu, the Gorakhpur tragedy, bullet train, among others, were also widely talked about on Facebook.
