NTR's 'Temper' shows its power

CineMAA Awards 2016 was an event to reckon with. Held yesterday in Hyderabad, it saw Puri Jagannadh's Temper sweeping three awards, including one prestigious award for NTR.

These are three categories in which the film won the awards:

Best Actor (Popular) - Male: NTR

Best Dialogue writer: Puri Jagannadh

Best Supporting Actor - Male: Posani Krishna Murali

NTR walked away with the honour in recognition of his studied portrayal of a corrupt cop-turned-conscientious revenge seeker. As NTR took the award, he thanked Vakkantham Vamsi for the story, besides raising a toast to Puri for agreeing to do Vamsi's story despite the fact that "Puri could have done a film of his choice with a better story of his own".

Puri getting the award is another well-deserved one, given that Temper's dialogues had a crucial role to play in the film's BO success. Lines like "Daya gadi dandayatra', 'Na peru Daya, naku lenide adi', etc became instant hits with the mass audience.

As for Posani, he was pretty happy that he got to play the role of NTR's constable in Temper. He thanked Puri for visualizing him in that role and said that, as an artiste, Mental Krishna made him realize his acting talent.
