'Nurses protest Manjus' new ad

Manju Warrier , who is the brand ambassador of a popular jewellery brand, had released a new Print advertisement which has also unleashed a lot of debates. The advertisements show Manju Warrier in the garb of a nurse, and the headline states "Anyone can buy diamonds now, starting from '5,000." The nurses and their associations complaints that the ad shows them in poor light as 'paupers'and degrades the profession .
They points out that it is only the nurses working in Kerala, who are facing financial difficulties, while majority working outside are doing extremely well in the financial front. Commenting the ad as a cheap business tactic, they complains that their noble profession are always targeted by television and print ads.
