The Rajini-Karthik Subbaraj film produced by Sun Pictures which is underway has the enviable ensemble cast that includes Rajini, Trisha, Simran, Nawazuddin Siddique, Bobby Simha, Sananth, Malavika Mohanan and Vijay Sethupathi. The third shooting schedule just completed in Chennai on the 30th and the team is set to travel abroad for the next.

The latest valuable addition to the cast of 'Thalaivar 165' is Guru Somasundaram who has been roped in to play a pivotal role. The 'Aaranya Kaandam' and 'Joker' star recently impressed in the anthology film 'Odu Raja Odu' and his next release is 'Vanjagar Ulagam' hitting the screens on September 7th.

Guru Somasundaram has already acted in Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jigarthanda' in which he brought the house down with his antics as a acting coach who unwittingly shows snobbish beahaviour towards the dreaded don Sethu played by Bobby Simha and pays the price in the end.
