Now, a New York doctor has tragically died after dining at a Disney restaurant in Florida. The heartbroken husband, Jeffrey Piccolo, blames careless workers and has filed a 19-page lawsuit in Orange County, Florida. The claims include negligence against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, in which the doctor made one of the staffers aware of her allergic reaction to nuts and dairy.

The workers at the Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Disney Springs were unable to provide allergen-free food despite Tangsuan's repeated inquiries and assurances. Tangsuan had ordered broccoli and corn fritters, scallops, and onion rings at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant but fell ill after her dinner that evening while exploring the shopping complex. She sought refuge on Planet Hollywood, where she started experiencing heavy breathing problems and fell down.

Even though her parents had administered an epipen immediately, Tangsuan died at a local hospital. The medical examiner's report shows that she died from an anaphylactic reaction to heightened levels of dairy and nuts in her system.

The lawsuit alleges that Disney had failed to properly inform, educate, train, and instruct its employees as to how to make sure allergen-free food was actually free from allergens. It further claims that Disney controlled the menu, wait staff hiring and training, and policy concerning food allergies policy at the Disney Springs eateries.

Piccolo is seeking damages of more than $50,000 under Florida's wrongful death act to claim rights over lost support and services, including compensation for mental pain and suffering, loss of earnings, and funeral expenses.
