The Telugu film “Odela Railway Station,” directed by Ashok Teja, was released in 2022. The sequel to this movie has now been completed, once again directed by Ashok Teja. The film features actors Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha, Nag Mahesh, and Vamsi. Renowned composer Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his work in “Kantara,” has scored the music for the film. Actress Tamannaah plays the lead role in this spiritual thriller. The movie is scheduled for a worldwide release on April 27.
The trailer reveals that a dark entity haunts the village of Odela, particularly tormenting women. Tamannaah appears as a powerful spiritual woman who comes to protect the village. While the first part focused on a crime thriller theme, the second part shifts to a devotional-horror blend. Several scenes in the trailer resemble visuals from Anushka Shetty’s popular film “Arundhati.”
However, some Tamil dialogues featured in the trailer received criticism for being poorly written. Lines such as “I will encircle Odela like a poisonous wind,” and “To stop the curse, I must absorb it first,” stand out — though they are emotionally strong, the Tamil translation appears awkward. The true impact of these dialogues and how they are presented in the film will be known after the movie’s release.
The trailer for “Odela 2” promises a mix of divine power, fear, and intense drama, aiming to captivate audiences with its mystical storyline and gripping visuals.
