Julie was first spotted in the Jallikattu protests in which she was raising slogans against the ruling party. The media mileage got her an opportunity to participate as a contestant in the 'Bigg Boss' show hosted by Kamal Haasan. Her common girl demeanour won her many fans initially but later she was perceived as immature and one could say lost her chance to become the winner of the show too.

Post the 'Bigg Boss' show Julie signed on to play the lead in a few films but none saw the light of the day other than her cameos in 'Maappillai Singam' and 'Naan Sirithaal'. In the meantime, one of Julie's hardcore crazy fan has posted a pic showing a photo of her placed along with those of gods and deities in view of her upcoming birthday

The same fan has also laminated the reality star's photos on his cellphone and has declared proudly that he is her fan. Well, the Julie army is alive for sure.
