On his b'day, Varun looks forward to 3 releases

Though Varun Sandesh has not delivered a single hit since Happy Days, he is definitely a sought-after youngster in Tollywood. A good three releases, one directed by no less a talent than Neelakantha, are going to release in the next few months. Yesterday (July 21) was his birthday, and speaking at the function organised by the makers of one of his forthcoming films, Varun expressed his happiness over the fact that the industry has been supporting him from the beginning.

“I have celebrated all my birthdays since the age of 18 with industry members. The film being made under Lakshmi Cine Visions banner is shaping up really well. This is a different subject. My director (Koneru Sreenu) is extracting good output. Hari Priya (heroine) is doing a good job. Before the release of this film, Neelakantha’s Chammak Challo and Twist will be releasing,” he said.

All the three films are different in three different ways. Twist sees him share the screen space with Sundeep Kishan, and is directed by Siraj Kallani.

Danduplaya, which released in June, is the most popular Kannada film in the recent times. This crime movie, starring Pooja Gandhi, Makaram Deshpande, Ravi Kale, Sai Ravi, Nisha Kotari, Raghu Mukherjee, would be remade into Hindi. A sequel is in the offing. It is going to be dubbed into Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bhojpuri.
