When it was released in 2003, we all swayed to their soothing number "Tu Aashiqui Hai" and to the peppy remixed version of "Humein Tumse Pyaar Kitna".. And now the musical team will soon be back... Yes, we are speaking about 'Jhankar Beats' which went on to win hearts and also ruled the box office.

Our birdies revealed that the helmer of the hit 'Jhankar Beats' Sujoy Ghosh will take up the directorial reins again for its sequel. According to Pritish Nandy (who earlier distributed the original under Pritish Nandy Communications) Suresh Nair has finished the scripting of Jhankar Beats’ sequel. But cast and crew of the new venture are not yet decided.

A fun filled movie starring Rahul Bose, Sanjay Suri, Shayan Munshi, Juhi Chawla, Riya Sen and Rinkie Khanna, ‘Jhankar Beats’ had been a tribute to the legendary music badshah R. D. Burman.
