He knows the grammar of cinema. He knows how to catch the attention of viewers. He is sensible throughout. A debutant director with new artistes giving an engaging film speaks about the commitment of the whole team in shaping up the film. Good going Rao. Try to be crisp and tidy. Keep this piece of advice for your forthcoming films. The music is the mainstay of this film. This is the first breakthrough for music director Gandharva who has struggled for quite a long time. Four songs are melodious is not an ordinary achievement.
The backdrop of existing naxal crisis in Karnataka has come very useful to the director. He sets his entire film with this backdrop. Sharath (Shanker Aryan) an innocent is drawn by Saakshi (Yagna Shetty) to love her with an ulterior motive of security. By the time Sharath is serious in love Saakshi adhere to her mother's urge. Upset with this Sharat becomes a wanderer and finally lands in a revolutionary gang that believes in the theory of Karl Marx. Sharath inspired by the principles unknowingly falls in the company of a movement. There he is given the tag of naxal by the police. On the other hand Soorya (Narayanaswamy) a close friend of Saakshi receives a letter from the same revolutionary gang. When he reaches the spot in Sringeri the encounter between the naxal and police changes the fate of Soorya. He is picked by the police for interrogation. Now Saakshi looking for Soorya comes to Sringeri. This is where ex lover Sharath is also living escaping from the eyes of police. Quick developments give very interesting moments for the audience. It is better you go and watch!
Shanker Aryan and Narayanaswamy from television have given a tolerable performance. They look good have the advantage of height and good diction of Kannada language gives both a good future. They are sure to add to the competition of present genre of actors. Yagna Shetty is not groomed well for the film. Her body language and costumes has been disgusting. Rajesh as inspector once again famous in small screen gives a fine performance.
The elders Ramakrishna, Padma Vasanthi and Krishne Gowda have given admirable support.
Preethige Hottu Gottilla. Preethi Shuruvagodhellinda..., Idhu Yaro Baredha Kavana, Nooru Janumaku Aliydhi Chaaye.. Are wonderful tunes composed by Gandharva.
Shyam as cameraman gives splendid interiors of Sringeri surroundings. The mountain ranges, lush green forest are a treat to watch.
