One more COVID-19 death in Kerala

On Sunday, Kerala reported one more COVID-19 death. With this, the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the state touched 5.

The deceased is a 52-year-old woman named Amina, who had recently returned from abroad. Amina who was a cancer patient returned to Kochi on May 20. After she showed COVID-19 symptoms, Amina was admitted to a private hospital. She was later shifted to the medical college, where her health conditions worsened and died on Sunday afternoon. The health officials are trying to trace how she contracted the virus.
