OnePlus to make smart TVs in Hyderabad

OnePlus has reportedly resolved to make Hyderabad a hub for the manufacturing of smart TVs. In a statement, the company has said that 5,00,000 units have been produced since March or so. 

Further, OnePlus has dedicated two production lines for smart TVs. The production will be ramped up to one million units by the end of this year. 

Sharing the news on social media, IT Minister KT Rama Rao said, "Would like to share the happy news that @oneplus has made Hyderabad a hub to make smart TVs in India. My gratitude to Founder & CEO Pete Lau for continuing to invest in Hyderabad." 

Fab City, Raviryal Village, Maheshwaram Mandal will be the manufacturing hub. 

Recently, Telangana offered a range of incentives to attract Kitex Garments, after its CEO publicly declared that he would be pulling out a Rs 5,000 Cr investment from Kerala.
