Onir, Sanjay Win TMG Award

  • IndiaGlitz, [Thursday,November 23 2006]

Talented director-actor duo Onir and Sanjay Suri have won the prestigious Triangle Media Group Award for their film ‘My Brother Nikhil’. They have also been placed in the Top 50 Hot List in 2006-2007 TMG Awards. As is well known ‘My Brother Nikhil’ is one of the finest films on Aids awareness in the country. Sanjay Suri emerged as an actor of consequence and Onir was a director to watch out for after this film.

Onir’s last release ‘Bas Ek Pal’ may not have won favours but his future moves are being watched with keen interest. He is a promising film maker who is in the nascent stage of his career. It’s a matter of time for him to create a niche for himself in the big bad world of illusions where you are put on a pedestal if you do well while you are pulled down if your ideas fail.

India Glitz congratulates Onir and Sanjay Suri for their special achievement.
