Operation Gold Fish Trailer: Racy, commercial, topical

The Trailer for 'Operation Gold Fish' is out and it's a winner. Director Sai Kiran Adivi introduces us to the film's premise. It's a film whose story involves a patriotic NSG commando, college students, a mind-boggling jihadi who hates India, and the backdrop of Kashmir, among others.

From characters giving dangerous calls of Jihad to a hero who says that an Indian never breaks a promise, you have all the commercial elements in store. Inspired by true events, there are sleeper cells and an internationally-prestigious mission.

Coming in the wake of the annulment of Article 370, it talks about the eviction by terrorists of Kashmiri Hindus from their homeland in the early 1990s.

Ghaji Baba (writer Abburi Ravi debuts as an actor) plays the enemy of humanity. Hero Arjun Pandit (Aadi Saikumar), an NSG commando, is tasked with dealing with him and his gang of desperadoes with an iron fist. Sasha Chetri, Nithya Naresh, Karthik Raju and Parvateesam are seen as fun-loving youngsters. Rao Ramesh, Aneesh Kuruvilla, Manoj Nandam, Krishnudu are part of the cast.

Stunt master Ramakrishna seems to have mounted impressive scenes.

Music is by the talented Sricharan Pakala, while cinematographer Jaipal Reddy's visuals are impressive. Editing is by the able Garry BH.

The film will release on October 18.
