Oscar winner Resul Pookutty to debut as an actor

Academy Award winning sound designer Resul Pookutty is all set to translate his off-screen talents onto the big screen as well. The sound designer will turn actor for the first in a film titled ‘Oru Kadhai Sollattuma’ directed by Prasad Prabhakaran.
The film will have Resul Pookutty essaying the role of a sound designer (aptly) who wants to record all the sounds in the world famous Thrissur’s Pooram festival. The director also noted that over 80 technicians from Hollywood and Bollywood have worked capturing the sounds of the Pooram festival.
Rahul Raj has scored the music for the film for which the lyrics have been penned by Vairamuthu. The movie which is being bankrolled by palm Stone Multimedia is set to entertain audiences also in Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi.
