Actress Oviya, who made her debut in Kollywood with the Vemal starrer superhit rural entertainer Kalavani, later went on to act in notable movies like Kalakalappu, Muthuku Muthaaga, Manmadhan Ambu etc.

Oviya went on to gain huge fame and fan following after her participation in the first season of the reality game show Bigg Boss hosted by Kamal Haasan and later was seen in Raghava Lawrence's Kanchana 3.

Known for regularly tweets philosophical quotes on social media, Oviya has now tweeted about the people who make world dangerous. She has tweeted "The world is a dangerous place not because of those who do evil,it’s because of those who look on and do nothing".
