Pa. Ranjith's 'Kaala' starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Nana Patekar received critical acclaim and has also crossed 50 days in theaters in many centers.  There is great curiosity over what the next film of the maverick director is and according to sources close to him the script is being penned and would feature a big hero.

In the meantime news has arrived that  Pa. Ranjith is developing another project titled 'Kuthirai Vaal' bankrolled by his Neelam Productions banner.  The film will have five stories and each one will be directed by a different director including Ranjith himself.  The official announcement about this project is expected soon.

Ranjith's other production 'Pariyerum Perumal' directed by Maari Selvaraj and starring Kathir and Kayal Anandhi is slated for release during August-September.
