Paasakiligal

Thursday, January 1, 1970 • Tamil Comments

Director Rama Narayanan, who has completed over 100 movies, is a shrewd man. He knows what to do and how to do. He also knows his strengths and weaknesses.

He has now identified his core strength as mythological-fantasy films.

That is the reason he has not ventured to do this sentimental tear-jerker and limited his role to just producing Paasa Kiligal.

The film is directed by Amirtham.

And as the title suggests the movie is all about emotions which dwells about love and affection between two brothers and a sister played by Prabhu, Murali and Navya Nair respectively.

DMK president M Karunanidhi, after Kannama and Manin Maindhan, has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues besides writing the songs for the movie.

According to Rama Narayanan, `Paasakiligal will be a milestone movie in my career for Karunaidhi has given one of his best outputs.'

After a successful comeback in Chandramukhi, Prabhu plays the lead role in the movie and he feels absolutely happy to be part of MK's venture.

Navya Nair has established herself as a consummate actress in Tamil. She will be hoping to underscore that image through this film.

Music composer Vidyasagar is looking forward to the delight of setting tunes for Karunanidhi's lyrics. 'After Chandramukhi, expectations are on a higher plane. Meeting the demand is my immediate priority.'

The movie has a huge star cast including Roja, Manorama, Nasser and Kuyili.

While Panneer Selvam handles cinematography, editing is by Raj Keerthy and stunts are by Super Subbarayan.

Rama Narayanan is keen to complete the movie in the next few days and have it released before this year-end.
