Padmapriya forays into Bollywood

After a successful streak in almost all the languages of the South, Padmapriya is now foraying into Bollywood with the film ‘Striker’.

A film that follows the recent interest in sports films initiated by ‘Lagaan' , 'Chak De India' and 'Goal', the movie has a plot based on carom players.

Boys fame Siddharth will appear in the lead of this film, which will have Padmapriya in glamorous outfits that suit the recent trends in Hindi cinema. The actress also seems to project a new image in Bollywood, too dissimilar than the one that she have in the South.

Mostly believed as a thinking actress, even her much inviting news breaks following 'Mirgam' acted on the positives to increase her star quotient. Her bold act in the movie was also widely appreciated as it climbed up the box office charts, becoming a good earner.

In Malayalam, she has a couple of new movies, the important one being 'Pachamarathanalil' with Sreenivasan.
