'Padmavat' makes this major achievement in Chennai!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavat' is all the rave even several days after its release thanks to the controversy surrounding it. Adding to its many records, the Ranvir Singh-Deepika-Shahid Kapoor starrer has added yet another feather to its cap.

'Padmavat' has become the highest commercial Bollywood grosser in Chennai with an astounding profit of Rs.4,53,79,7 63 from January 24th to February 11th. It is also worth mentioning here that the film has managed to retain a crowd presence of 90% in the city even as of last weekend.

Last weekend alone the film raked in profits of Rs. 35,51,842 in the city's box office. Kudos to 'Padmavat' for breaking the barriers to become the people's favourite!
