Paidipally out, Shiva in for Akhil

Speculation about Akhil's film has been around for many months now. After the disaster of his debut movie, the Akkineni star has been circumspect about his next move. Nagarjuna has been involved completely with story sittings.

Days after denying the 'rumour' that his next is not with Vamshi Paipdipally, it turns out his director is someone else.

We learn that Akhil has finalized a film under the direction of Koratala Siva. It is going to be a remake of a Malayalam hit.

As things stand, the film will go on the floors after Siva wraps up Janata Garage in July or Aug. It's for the first time that the director will handle a remake.

It will be produced by DVV Danayya. It will be interesting to see what subject Akhil has chosen.
