Fawad Chaudhury, the Science & Technology Minister in the Imran Khan government, has openly said in the Pakistan National Assembly that the Pulwama carnage (which took place in February 2019) was a great achievement of the Imran Khan government. He boasted that Pakistan hit India on the Indian land.

The admission on the floor of the Parliament has come in for much criticism from the Indian side. Several commentators are seeing it as a damning self-indictment. The Indian government can use the Minister's utterances as evidence before the Financial Action Task Force to ensure that Pakistan gets penalized heavily for sponsoring terrorism.

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on Friday tweeted that Pakistan has admitted its hand behind the Pulwama terror attack. He added that the Congress party and others who talked of conspiracy theories must apologize to the country.
