From the word go, the Panjaa audio launch was exciting. From the time Suma and Ali announced the arrival of the much-awaited day, it was clear that the day was going to be a treat for the fans of Pawan Kalyan. The audio of his latest Panjaa, produced by, was launched in the presence of thousands of fans by SS Rajamouli at a grand event held at Gacchibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.

As a prelude to the final launch, some celebrities were asked to speak about what they thought about Pawan and Panjaa. If Sai Dharma Tej said that whatever Pawan said to him was sacrosanct to him, budding producer Ganesh raised the toast for Gabbar Singh in advance. BVSN Prasad predicted a sure shot hit.

Great action was yet to come. As Pawan arrived with his son Akira Nandan, the audience turned delirious. They could not contain their feverish excitement each time footage from Panjaa was displayed on the screen. It touched a high when the Paparayaudu number, where Pawan is seen singing psalms of Brahmanandam was shown.

The event was spiced up with some entertaining performances. If Ali, who parodied Pawan's look in Panjaa, which had the superstar blushing and admiring his friend's act, percussionist Taufiq Quereshi's 10-minute performance was class apart. Later, when Blazee burst on the screen in his usual electric style and surprised everyone by singing a song in praise of Pawan, which he had written in the morning, we were witness to the affection the hero and the rapper have for each other.

Earlier, an audio-visual presentation paid a tribute to Pawan, whose illustrious career recently reached the age of 15 years! The icing on the cake was some words about Power Star's inner personality. We met Pawan, the human being.

When it was the time for speeches, everyone spoke in awe of Pawan. Brahmi predicted nothing less than an earth-shaking hit at the box office. With his mannerisms, he indicated that Panjaa will create a BO sensation no less.

Rajamouli shared an anecdote. She said that when producer Shoba Yarlagadda told him the title, he said it sounded powerful. If one wants to know the pulse of the audience, they will do better to come to an event like this. Pawan Kalyan and audience pulse go hand in hand, he said. He unveiled the first copy of the much-awaited audio.

Yuvan Shankar Raj said that his music will do the speaking for him. (Earlier Pawan thanked him for making to the event despite having been down in the dumps after the death of his mother, Illayaraja's wife, who had passed away recently.)

Sarah Jane Dias said that she is a fan of Pawan Kalyan now. Speaking in a lighter vein, she said she was now a competition to Pawan's milling fans across the State.

Anjali Lavania blushed as she started to gush about the best Pawan. She said Pawan is the best. She blushed again.

The most-awaited speech of the day came finally. Pawan was at his composed best yesterday. He started by felicitating the All India IIT-JEE topper Prithvi Teja, who is a Pawan Kalyan fan, and blessed him.

Pawan said, Recently, I read an article which spoke about my 15-year stint in the industry. Honestly speaking, I had never realized that it has been such a time since I came to the industry. I struggled as an actor to establish myself because I would always question myself, 'Will the audience see you just because you are Megastar Chiranjeevi's brother?' Luckily for me, Toli Prema happened. Saying that he never believes in the redeeming value of background, Pawan said that making films has always been on the top of his mind. Yes, I could not do many films because in this industry we are constrained by several considerations like budget and due to other apprehension. But, I was never casual in my approach.

Pawan Kalyan ended the speech in his usual characteristic style by saying Jai Hind.

He launched the 2G memory card on the occasion. Blackberry movie application was another launch in the same event.

All in all, the grand event which was peppered with lively performances and sweet speeches was a delight for everyone.
